All you need to know when shopping online at Finch Emporium is detailed below.

Delivery

Postage is a flat-rate of $7.95 Australia-wide. This cost is for your entire order and not per item. There is no charge for delivery on orders of $150 or over.

Finch Emporium only delivers parcels to addresses within Australia. Overseas customers are welcome to place an order for delivery to a friend or relative in Australia and we will send the gift to the Australian address you provide and the billing details to you. You can also save on the delivery cost by choosing to have the parcel collected from the shop, if your friend or relative is happy to collect it.

Most orders will be despatched within 24 hours of the order being placed and delivery will usually take between 2 and 5 days. Orders that are made over the weekend, will take a little longer to be despatched. If urgent delivery is required, please call the shop during our business hours or send an email and we can discuss express delivery options.

During the busy Christmas shopping months of November and December, delivery times may take a little longer than at other times of year. Please make sure that you have allowed enough time for your delivery to arrive at its destination in the time frame you require.

Pickup from Store

When you choose to pick up your parcel from the shop in Seddon, you can do so during the following business hours:

9.30am to 3pm on Tuesday

9.30am to 5pm on Wednesday

9.30am to 5pm on Thursday

9.30am to 5pm on Friday

10am to 3pm on Saturday

Free Gift Wrapping

A free gift wrapping service is available when you purchase from Finch Emporium, with the exception of a small number of items that are too big to wrap using our paper. Just let us know if the gift is for a boy or girl, or if neutral paper suits you better. A small message can be included with the gift.

All prices displayed on this website are in Australian dollars.

GST (Goods and Services Tax)

The prices on all products available on this website include GST.

Packaging

Looking after our environment is important to us at Finch Emporium, so we re-use the packaging that is sent to us, whenever possible. The green bubble wrap we use to protect some parcels is enviro wrap and breaks down in a much shorter time than regular bubble wrap.

Return policy

It is important that you read all the information provided about a product prior to purchase. In particular, the dimensions of the items. Images provide details of the appearance of the products being purchased, but they are not able to convey sizing accurately, so it is necessary to read the size details and be certain that the size is appropriate for your intended use, prior to purchase.

If you change your mind about a product you have purchased, please let us know within 14 days of receipt of your delivery and we will arrange with you to return the good/s. A refund will be given for the cost of the good/s, but not the postage. The good/s must be returned in their original condition.

Security

Finch Emporium uses a secure server, so the personal information you provide when placing your order is encrypted and transferred to us through 128 bit SSL technology, which is the highest level of security available. When you make a purchase using your credit card details, this information is only used for processing your payment and no other purpose. Your credit card information is not stored on our system.

Privacy

Maintaining our privacy is important to most of us. At Finch Emporium, we wouldn’t appreciate our contact details being given to third parties without our permission, so we do not pass any of our customer details on to any businesses that are not involved in the delivery of parcels to you.

Cookies

Cookies are used by all online shopping cart sites to identify your web browser and the items you are purchasing. They do not identify individual shoppers or contact details. It is necessary to have cookies turned on when shopping online.
